In our office, physiotherapy encompasses hands-on care such as A.R.T. or G.T. or passive care modalities such as H-wave muscle stimulation, microcurrent, heat or ice. The most critical part of the physiotherapy process is identifying the weakest link in the locomotor system. Through specific movement, gait, neurological and orthopedic assessments, Dr. Armen will decide which modalities to use and which exercises are most specifically corrective for your particular condition. In our office, we use TRX, bands, kettlebells, foam rollers and more.
Dr. Armen will have an immediate recommended action plan on where to begin with exercises. The exercises usually start with inhibiting tight and overactive areas, then stretches, activation and strengthening procedures and finally integrative movements designed to be functionally restorative and corrective.
